Haircut.. need some visual aid.?

My problem is that my hair is something between curly and wavy and I've decided to give it a trim to make it more manageable and to save me the trouble of straightening it every time just so I can look presentable. I have an oval face, brown hair and I'm thinking some short bangs an long hair might look interesting.. I've seen this haircut on a girl I met in Spain last year and now I just need to find a picture of a hairstyle such as this, so I can show my hairdresser.. if you have any idea where to find the picture.. or any suggestions on another haircut style that would go with my face and my hair.. I'd be grateful. thanks :)

you dont have to straighten your hair everyday... you do it because you want to. go to the store buy some curling mousse put it in your hair and itll look fine

Hairdressers - How do I accurateley describe this style to my hairdresser?

I went in to get my haircut today and brought this picture. Somehow, the hairdresser thought I wanted 2-3 inches taken off the top and the sides layered to contour my head. I told her I wanted my hair left long around my face and that I thought the last hairdresser had used the sheers on me too much.

So, how do I best describe this style so as not to get my hair chopped off again like a boy's haircut?

I don't know if you mean the pic on the left or the right, but they are both short hair cuts. With these styles, you can't have hair very long around your face or you'll have a big gap between the sets of layers %26amp; it will look weird. It's good to bring in a picture - that's the easiest way to explain what you want. These hair cuts are short, layered, %26amp; tapered in the back. If your hair is not the same texture/thickness of the pictures you bring it (which can be hard to tell), you will not have the exact same results.

If you don't want a blunt cut where the hair is straight across at the ends then you might mean that you want the ends razor cut so that the layers or ends are pointed.

Not sure exactly what you might mean, you need to find a better pic one that shows the style face forward and then the side.

hmmm, it's not that bad to me.. how about going bald?? jk jk seriously, your jaws look just fine!!! and your hair style is not bad either. have a confidence! But If you wanna grow your hair, you should wait for few months and then you cut it stylish with lots of layers, and use some wax to style it.

Any hairstyle ideas?

I'm 14, I have long brown hair with a natural kink.

For school everyday and for town at the weekends, I'd really like a few different hairstyles I could try out. Because in the town where I live, most girls have poker straight hair or fixed curls;it gets kinda boring.
