New hairstyle ideas por favor!!?

ok this is really sad. i have had the same hairstyle since 4th grade. i am in 9th grade. that is 5 years people FIVE YEARS. currently it is unlayered, long, down to my butt, EXTREMELY THICK, dark colored, and striaght/wavy but mostly straight. i already know what im gonna do: cut my hair maybe a little shorter than shoulder length, get side swept bangs, and thats about it. but whats gonna happen is that im gonna wear it in a ponytail ALL THE TIME so can anyone give me new hairstyles for like wavy hair, or something nice because i don't like straightening or blow drying my hair.. something i can do naturally and it can't take long i have EXTREMELY limited time to do my hair so the longest it can take is 15 minutes to do. and the new hairstyle suggestions are for shorter hair. also how do you scrunch hair? muchas gracias =]

I am in 9th grade too.. anyways.. I would suggest getting a lot cut off.. and layers.. and maybe thinned? and you can find a lot of ideas.. headbands.. putting your hair up in different ways.. but I would go shorter because it would be a lot easier to handle.. I hope that helps! Buena suerta y De nada (I hope I spelled that right)

One long french braid would be pretty. Another really pretty thing is a french twist. Grab your hair like you are about to make a ponytail and then twist it to the right. Pin the ends under with bobby pins. Also, try using foam hair curlers. Take a shower the night before and while your hair is still wet, put them in. Then you just have to take them out and spray your hair with hair spray. Ask the person who is cutting your hair for styling tips. On a side note, it might be nice to donate your hair to Locks of Love. Locks of Loves makes wigs out of your hair for cancer patients and people who have alcocepia (i don't know how to spell it but it is a disease which makes your hair fall out. Good Luck!!!!!!!!

Cut your long hair and sell it for some cash at: http://hairbuyer.com

Wash and condition your hair.

Squeeze the excess water out. To scrunch it, you want it damp but not soaking wet or dripping.

Wrap your hair in a small towel. Do not rub your hair at all with the towel. What you can do is wring it within the towel if the ends are still dripping.

Comb your fingers or a wide-tooth comb through your hair and make a part as best as you can. Don't worry if it's not perfect.

Spray hairspray in your hair. Put it near the middle and bottom of your hair. Putting it too close to your roots will cause it to look greasy and weighed down.

Turn your head upside down so that your hair is hanging down. This step is optional and some might prefer to skip it.

Put gel in your hands and rub them together to spread the gel.

Grab a small handful of hair by the ends and push it up toward the head. Hold it in place for a few moments while aiming the hair dryer at it to 'set' the gel/mousse/hair spray.

Repeat this all over your head, reapplying the gel every time. Keep in mind that small handfuls yield tighter waves and large handfuls create full, loose waves.

For best results, use shampoo, conditioner, and products (gel, mousse, hairspray, etc.) that specifically define curls.

Don't put too much gel in your hair in one spot because once it dries, it will turn white and flaky.

Don't even think about brushing your hair after you've scrunched it. You will look like you got electrocuted.
