You will have to let it get long enough for it to be cut this way. In fact, you'll need to let it get a little longer than it is in the pic for the stylist to cut the layers that are in this style.

Take the pic with you to a stylist to show them exactly what you want. You will then need to buy a styling product to emphasize the texture or "piece-y" look. A pomade, wax, or paste will work well with that cut. Have the stylist show you how to use them.
