Preppy/emo hairstyles?!?

I have shoulder length hair (it hasn't been this long in a year, so im not cutting it) that is a very dirty blonde color.

It's very wavy and poofy b/c of me cutting it short all the time, and I have a straightener (CHI) and it works very good, but it takes to long! How can I get my hair to look preppy AND emo? Could you put pictures please, and tell me how long it takes to fix it like that? Thank you so much!!!

You could dye your hair a dark brown with blonde or lighter brown streaks or dye the top portion of your hair blonde with a darker color underneath. You could also get your haircut to where you have side bangs, sort of like Nicole Richies, that seems to be a cute trend now days. That way you can pull your bangs back for more of a "preppy" look or wear them to the side for more of an "emo" look.

sorry hun, but you can't rock emo AND prep at the same time. it's like trying to wear a skirt and jeans at the same time. sounds like you're just jumping on the first bandwagon you saw, but are too scared to go the whole hog.

you could get the very sideways bangs that emos have except leave the back a little layered and long instead of the short style that most emos have. maybe you can get some clip on hair extensions to make your hair longer too. someone in my school has hair similar to what i described. its pretty cute.

hmm.. maybe put some darker highlights in your hair too....

If you have wavy hair thats hard to straighten you might as well not have emo hair. If you TRY to get emo hair you will be labeled a poser so you might as well just try preppy hair. But a way to collaborate them is to get like side bangs and have liek a darkish hair color with liight highlights

Wow Emo%26lt;3 is a douchebag. You can rock anything if you try, thats probly why she just stuck to emo. I rock both everyday, I got dark dark DARK brown hair with a bright blonde streak in my bangs, I just side sweep it everyday and part it to the far side, it looks great :)
