I'm getting deja vu asking this, but what short hairstyles will suit my round face?

Well, I'm getting my hair cut again, and I want it short - in fact it's already quite short considering the longest layer is just below my chin.

It's in bad condition, and I've tried everything, the only real solution is to cut the bottom bits (the worst affected from repeated straightening) off, and I would really love a short haircut that suits my face.

Unfortunately having a round face makes that very difficult. I know chin length styles will never suit me. I know to have lots of volume on the top, a side parting and a long side fringe. I have naturally straight-ish hair. It needs straightening to look sleek and so on, but it doesn't really qualify as properly wavy.

What I'm really looking for, are suggestions of specific styles to suit my face shape, preferably with pictures. I have a small turned up nose, big eyes, and big lips, and I'm short, and of average weight (my friend told me that makes a difference.)

I really, really hope someone can help, I have no idea myself.

i know what you mean about the round face not chubby face problem, but a short blonde crop like Selma Blair's does work...got it myself and is very in right now

No - short hair doesn't really suit chubby faces.

Round face:

Hairstyles with fullness and height at the crown will give the impression of a narrower face. Try a cut with layers while keeping the sides close to your face to make your face appear longer. Round faces suit either short hairstyles swept back from your forehead, or hairstyles that are longer than chin length. Wispy fringes and side parts are also good.

Avoid chin length hair, center parts, fullness at the sides of ears, straight "chopped bangs - these wll all emphasise the shape of your face.

i would say that you should keep it long, cos boys like girls with long hair instead of short hair.

but try a bob, i reckon it would look nice.
