if "being caught" implies that long hair is not allowed in your school, maybe you can tuck it under a hat or into the back of your shirt while at school?

it amazes me that our education system is more concerned with students' hair than with their academic abilities, but i suppose that's a soapbox i'd best stay off of.

as far as people thinking you're a poser -- screw them, it's your hair. put it in whatever style you like best. your friends are still gonna love you regardless, and everyone else -- your hair is none of their business.
